Mobile Personal Training

We come to you!

You don't need alot of fancy equipment or a gym membership to achieve your health and fitness goals.
What you do need is self-discipline and a willingness to change your habits and lifestyle.

And while that may seem hard, we're here to help.

Just had a bub? We understand the challenges of dealing with this new lifestyle (sleep deprivation - hellooo?). Exercises is particularly important after giving birth, not just to get your pre-baby fitness back, but to improve your mood, relieve stress and prevent postpartum depression.

What is your goal?

Want to shape and tone up? Want to lose weight? want to build muscle? or are you perhaps working towards a marathon and triathlon? Joining the Australian Defence Force and need to pass that Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA)?
Whatever your health and fitness goals, Troy has the qualifications and passion for helping you reach them.

First steps: Troy will take the time to talk to you, discuss your goals, assess your fitness, and work with you to set achievable long and short term goals and strategies to achieve those goals. He will then tailor a program specifically to fit your needs and your current experience level. He uses a variety of training exercises and methods to keep sessions interesting, fun and demanding.

After agreeing on a realistic time frame, Troy will conduct PT sessions with you to achieve the best possible, sustainable results. He'll be there to provide direction, focus and motivation so you gain a better understanding on how your body and mind can function optimally.

How to set your fitness goals
1. Be specific

First thing you need to do when setting your goals is to try to be specific. Being specific with your fitness goals is saying something like:

  * I want to drop one dress size for my wedding
  * I want to lose my body fat percentage
  * I want to run next year's marathon
  * I want to pass the physical fitness assessment

When you set a specific goal it doesn’t mean it cannot be changed, or that you can only have one goal. You can and probably will have more than one fitness goal as you start to be specific.

2. Have a measurable goal

You should be able to measure your goal. When talking about losing weight or reducing your body fat percentage is even easier to be specific as you should know how many kilograms you would like to lose or what is the fat percentage you would like to have.

3. Set an ACHIEVABLE goal
“Set your goals high enough to inspire you and low enough to encourage you.” -- Anonymous

How much weight would you like to lose or what is the fat percentage you would like to have.

4. Be realistic

“The goal you set must be challenging. At the same time, it should be realistic and attainable, not impossible to reach. It should be challenging enough to make you stretch, but not so far that you break.”  -- Rick Hansen

Everybody is capable of losing weight, but you need to be willing to change your lifestyle.

5. Put a time frame on it

With a specific, measurable, achievable and realistic goal in mind now all you need to do is set a time frame to achieve it. Make sure to apply the other 4 principles to it.

Once you set the time frame you should periodically reassess your goal and check your progress against it.

"I've always been interested in joining the Army and recently decided to do so, after trying out my other career choices; however I knew I needed to increase my fitness to be able to join and exercising alone has never been my strong point and that’s how I found Troy.

Having been in the Army for 20+ years as a paramedic and trainer, Troy knows what it takes to keep fit and healthy. He is a great motivator and has a vast knowledge of how the body works and its nutritional needs and always makes the sessions fun.  I have been having PT sessions twice a week for almost 3 months now and really enjoy it.  I can feel and see my body get stronger and fitter. I do not train in a gym, but outside in a park, which is great as I get to enjoy the sunrise.  My personalised training usually consists of exercises on the “sling”, running and boxing, as well as a few self defence skills.

I would recommend training with Troy; to anyone who wants to get a career in the defence force or even those just wanting to eat healthier and loose those few extra kilos".
