Background: Troy has 23 years experience as nurse/paramedic and just about the same amount of experience as physical training leader with alot of experience running group fitness classes up to 7 times per week.

Teaching style: Troy's fitness challenges really are challenging. You'll be expected to give all you've got and more. Combined with the expert nutrition advice you'll get, you'll see results, guaranteed! As your Personal Trainer, the skillled nurse/paramedic will be there to provide you with the best nutrition and lifestyle advice possible, to motivate and encourage you, every step of the way so that you realize your health and fitness goals. His vast experience in conducting fitness circuits ensures you that the Group Fitness classes (Body Sculpt, Boxing, Booty Challenges, Fitness Challenges) will be challenging, varied and fun.

Tatjana C Good (PhD)

Background: After practicing yoga for over a decade and teaching for 8 years, Tatjana left academia to pursue her passion of teaching yoga. She completed her advanced teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm (CA) in 2010.

Philosophy: According to Swami Sivananda, the vast science of Yoga can be  summarized into 5 principles of yoga:
  • Proper exercise (asanas)
  • Proper breathing (pranayama)
  • Proper relaxation (savasana)
  • Proper diet (vegetarianism)
  • Positive thinking & meditation (dhyana)

Experience: She has taught beginners, general and intermediate classes and specializes in Chair Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Partner Yoga and Restorative Yoga. She has collaborated with Headspace on a program developed for youth with depression and anxiety, and has taught 6-wk courses at the Women's Correctional Facility in Townsville. She currently offers classes through the Mental Illness Fellowship Inc.


Teaching style: Her classes begin with a mindfulness practice, focusing on body and breath awareness, and continue with an active vinyasa (flow) yoga (sun salutations with variations) while paying close attention to proper alignment, and include pranayama (breathing exercises) and a guided savasana (relaxation).
