The Heroine High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) could be just what you are looking for! The Heroine HIIT is a women's only fitness class that consists of alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods to bring out the heroine in you!

The Heroine HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise workout that will improve your athletic capacity and condition, while at the same time improving your glucose metabolism and your body’s ability to burn fat.

What’s the class about?

The Heroine HIIT class is be done at, or near, maximum intensity. The number of repetitions and length of each exercise will vary, but some exercises are as little as just 20 seconds work.

Each class is different: 
    * Calisthenics & aEROsLING
    * Kick Boxing & Boxing for Fitness
    * Heavy Mace & Power Yoga
    * Bulgarian Bag & Slam Ball
    * Kettle Bell & Sand Bag
    * Kettle Bell Double & Battle Rope

What are the Heroine HIIT Benefits?

Heroine HIIT increases your heart rate so much that even after the workout, and up to 24hrs later, your body continues to burn fat effectively. It also improves your blood’s ability to take up oxygen. To sum it up, HIIT will improve your overall performance.

What types of HIIT classes will there be?

There will five types of HIIT during the Heronie HIIT Fitness Challenge. They are:

AMRAP; as many reps as possible.

COMPLEXES; single piece of equipment to perform all exercises without putting the equipment down.

EMOM; every minute, on the minute as many reps in that minute.

TABATA; four minute workout with 20 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest.

CLUSTERS; circuit-based training with brief pauses between sets.

What if I haven’t exercised for a while?

That’s fine. The classes are structured so you can rest when you want too.
